The first project of The Rest is Music organization (RIM) entitled Mozart.Scarlatti.Bach.Weiss was premiered in September 2012 in Dubrovnik, followed by the performance in December 2012  in Zagreb.

Since 2013 RIM projects are regularly included in the Program of the public cultural needs of the City of Dubrovnik. In 2013 within the cycle of Romanticism we performed the premiere of the project Schubertiade in cooperation with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra Love triangle project, which was focused on the musical and personal relations between Robert and Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms. In May 2013 we made a tour in Austria (Großwarasdorf), organized by the local KUGA association. For Europe Day 2013 at the European House Dubrovnik, we performed a program entitled Croatian artists on the European path. RIM participated in the promotion of the annual publications of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences with the program The world of Jelena Pucic Sorgo. In July 2013, we were hosted on the island Lastovo with the program Mozart.Bach.Scarlatti.Weiss. In September 2013 we performed the premiere of the project Weltschmerz, which combined fine arts, music and literature in the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik.

The year 2014 RIM organization began with the project Bach and Sons, which was realized in cooperation with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, followed by performances of educational collage M.S.B.W. organized by Musical Youth in Split.

Project The other side of History, which was first performed as part of the International Museum Day and European Night of Museums in May 2014, deals with the cultural and historical events of the second half of the 18th Century with specialized costumed performances, and revives not only the time of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Luka Sorkočević, but also highlights the value and wealth of Croatian tangible and intangible cultural heritage, bringing Dubrovnik community in the context of European musical capitals of the time. This project is on the permanent repertoire of the RIM organization. It is created in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Museums and is also performed under the title The Rector’s Concert as a program of cultural tourism. The project was presented abroad, thanks to the successful cooperation with the Croatian-Austrian association Dubrovnik. Cooperation was launched in September 2014 and resulted in the performance entitled Fortepiano connects us-Dubrovnik visiting Vienna, which was held at the Croatian Embassy in Vienna in October 2016 and in the Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt in 2018.

In August 2014, RIM premiered performances of the project Garden of Music, created in collaboration with the Foundation Caboga Stiftung. The main topic of this project is heritage interpretation and the importance of Dubrovnik historical summer villas. The project was sucessfully continued in 2015 with the musical patchwork triptych: Trio on the terrace, Dubrovnik salon, In Mr. Kaboga’s drawing room. In August 2016, the collaboration is continued with the Renaissance Garden project, which was rated as high-quality from critics and audiences. The Renaissance Garden project is on the permanent repertoire of the RIM organization, and as a multimedia concert was produced by the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in June and July 2018. Since 2019  it is being conducted in cooperation with the Dubrovnik Heritage PLC as a heritage interpretation program aimed for the visitors of this historical summer residence.

The educational cycle for the Youth, Gioachino’s cuisine which shows musical skills and creativity in musical education through the stories of the famous opera composer Gioachino Rossini, who was a talented cook too, has been continually performed since 2013 in partnership with the Luka Sorkočević Art School and is implemented within the Educational program of City of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

In 2016, the RIM organization established cooperation with the Dubrovnik Summer Festival within the program of the Museum Night 2016 that took place in the Festival Palace. In March 2016 RIM continued its annual program in cooperation with the Alliance Francaise Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik Art Gallery, which was performed in July 2016 on the island Lastovo as hommáge to croatian famous maestro Ivo Dražinić.

In January 2017, RIM made a collaboration with the Art Gallery Dubrovnik through the program entitled Musical Coloring of the Mediterranean, which was designed and performed within Museum Night 2017. The cooperation continued with the project of cultural tourism entitled Pictures at the Exhibition. It was held regularly from June to September 2017., performed in the Dulčić Masle Pulitika Gallery, enlivening a new concert venue in the historical city center. In September 2017, RIM performed a concert in cooperation with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Zagreb and the Croatian-Austrian Society of Dubrovnik, as part of the Year of Culture Austria-Croatia 2017. The concert was held during the presentation of multimedia application of the fortepiano from the Rectors Palace in Dubrovnik, a project which RIM realized in partnership with the Dubrovnik Museums. As part of educational activities and audience development, RIM co-produced comic opera Pimpinone in collaboration with “Mala scena” Theatre  in Zagreb, marking 250th anniversary of the death of G. Ph. Telemann.

In 2018, RIM implemented several projects within its annual program: Women in Music – in cooperation with the Dubrovnik City Library, the Našice Museum  and the Croatian Historical Museum in Zagreb, marking the anniversary of the death of Croatian composer Dora Pejačević (January-February) ; Debussy marking 100 Years of Death, in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Art Gallery and the  Alliance Francaise  Dubrovnik (March), Renaissance Garden multimedia project in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Summer Festival (June-July), Pictures at the Exhibition project – musical matinées in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik (July-November) and the ARDEA project co-financed from the Creative Europe program, in partnership with the Academy of Capljina (BiH) and Ustanova Gallus (Slovenia). RIM also collaborated with the association Knights Frankopan of island Krk, in the event Gradec na misečini 2018 , which was devoted to the 900th anniversary of the Croatian noble family Frankopan.

In 2019, 2020 and 2021, RIM successfully continued with the implementation of the  Renaissance Garden project in the Villa Bunić-Kaboga. In 2019 a multimedia presentation of the Villa Bunić-Kaboga was created in cooperation with the Dubrovnik Heritage PLC. As part of the Zvira voda project which was co-financed by the Croatian Ministry of Culture, RIM devised modern sound adaptations of classical and ethno music, turning to the experimental genre and activities focused on audience development. It was achieved through the project #therestismusic (The Rest is Music) with the support of the City of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik- Neretva County.
